Since its founding, Alexander Maier GmbH has continuously evolved and is now an established name in building automation and intelligent control systems. With a strong focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and technological innovation, we have completed numerous projects that set industry standards.

 

25 Years of EisBaer – From EIB/KNX Visualisation to a Multi-Protocol System

25 years ago, our EisBaerchen was born – the first visualisation solution that ran on HP Palm and other handheld devices. A true innovation in the industry! Today, we also bid farewell to the first full-fledged EisBaer visualisation after an impressive 21 years of continuous operation. This version has been running on the same hardware in a customer project for over two decades – a remarkable testament to the robustness and longevity of EisBaer.

But EisBaer has continuously evolved. What started as a pure EIB/KNX visualisation has grown into a powerful multi-protocol system with around 50 different interfaces and system integrations. From KNX to BACnet, Modbus, MQTT, and IoT standards – EisBaer connects worlds and enables manufacturer-independent, flexible building automation.
